Capturing my Journey

Beautiful Morning

Such a lovely day today I took this on part one of the morning dog walk. This was just a short stroll before shutting them out the way for a bit. The tups (rams) have been becoming increasingly restless in the last week and I noticed yesterday afternoon that they had begun to hang around their perimeter fence towards the hill. So today I have put them under arrest in the shed until it is time for them to go out. I would leave them out but I do not trust the Shetland tups not to escape, they are agile clever creatures and the last thing I want is early lambs and them to be all Shetland cross, this has happened before but with a previous Shetland tup. We have opened a new silage bale for them and it smells and looks great definitely haylage rather than silage which is great.

After this I took the dogs on a nice long walk over the hills, the light is so amazingly clear today. In the afternoon I had to spend some time in the office. The women who takes the bookings for the cottages needed me to look over the cottage leaflets and information that she sends to guests. I also needed to make and print off my booking calendar for 2016 so I can keep track of the bookings. The new printer worked perfectly excel and I on the other hand had to have a few words as we disagreed on a couple of things. Finally got them all printed though. Also had a phone call from Bens owner re a small problem which when I put it from Bens perspective she could see what she needed to do. Feeling maybe I have over done it now as I'm feeling wiped with fighting the cold.

12c sunshine all day much cooler at nigh 4c in the am.
