What a disaster!   I've had a messy sort of day with nothing quite going to plan.

Jane asked me to print some photos for her

There were quite a few and it was about half way though when they started coming out like this.   I thought my printer had developed a fault because there was so much wet ink everywhere.

On examination,  I discovered that 4 sheets of paper were upside down in the printer so the ink was spraying on the non-coated side.  I wouldn't have believed it would make such a mess.

The problem was then that I was running out of photo paper and only just had enough to finish the job

Despite the disaster,  I thought the effect was rather interesting.  I've seen worse offerings in The Tate
