Dawn Mist on Hadrian's Wall
I've been meaning to get out early to capture some dawn shots for several weeks and for a variety of reasons not quite got round to it. Finally this morning I headed out along the Hadrian's wall path and enjoyed a couple of hours of ethereal bliss shrouded in mist which seemed to come and go almost like the tide. The main shot is taken from the Wall path looking north west across the fields. The extras shots are of a magnificent beech tree and of a spider's web.
The afternoon was spent in the kitchen making our Christmas cake, some sweet mincemeat for mince pies and some shortbread. Tonight we are going to the theatre to see Vincent and Flavia in their final tour, 'Last Tango'
