Patchwork

Some children from a refugee family come over lots and I wanted to do something a bit more constructive with them than just draw pictures, especially as they're not going to school. So today we at last started making a patchwork quilt (I didn't choose the colour scheme!). They're going to sew it by hand bit by bit- hopefully it will be ready in time for winter!

People here are getting concerned about the cholera outbreak. 34 now have it in one of the camps. Everyone is saying not to eat vegetables or to wash them in washing powder, which I can't imagine is too healthy either.
