And in another field!

These lovely creatures have just arrived in the field below our house. Two cows and two calves.

Now my question is - Do cows eat buttercups? Or do they carefully eat the grass around them? I don't know the answer to this, but, if they do eat them, they have a lot to be going on with here.

And yes, that is a bit of sunshine caught in the picture. Rain all day and then, just at the point when every visitor had definitely left the Lake District and gone home, the sun came out. Now at 5pm it's a beautiful day!!
