Golden hour

I'm sure the Magic Hour lasts longer in San Diego.  An hour before sunset is the perfect time to chase these guys around with my new 24-70mm lens.  It's certainly the ideal time to take snapshots of the kids.

Speaking of which, today saw the start of what I hope will be a regular occurrence.  Snagging the kids off Nikki, I went on a play-date with another couple of Dads.  We had planned to head over to Legoland or the Zoo but with temperatures reaching 100 degrees, we opted for the air conditioned retreat of soft play instead.
