Mournful Monday

Not a brilliant day. One friend's wife very poorly with a not good prognosis, one friend's husband diagnosed with a rare form of front lobal dementia in his early sixties and one colleague's baby born at 23 weeks with less than 50%!chance of survival.

Then as the day progressed a dire work problem manifested itself and has to be thrashed out at senior managers meeting tomorrow. I am way down the line and now have to rely on other people to do the best for my team.

Maybe I should have called it Moaning Monday. Staying with the pink theme for October, this is a flower in the Culpeper Garden at LC.
