Breakfast Date

This morning I experienced the 'School Run' for the first time in my life! A neighbour of mine has not been feeling well so she asked me if I could take her son to school. Apparently he was very excited to go in my car! I offered to put the top down but we decided it was a bit too grey and chilly for that.

I bumped into another friend at the school gate and after a bit of a chat we discovered we were both on our way to Waitrose so we did our shop and then met for coffee. This is her lovely little girl Amy who had already half devoured a chocolate muffin with smarties or M&Ms on it, before I even got a chance to sit down! She looks like she enjoyed it!

It was a lovely unexpected visit at the beginning of what became a rather frustrating day. But - I had another visit from a friend who dropped in for coffee this afternoon, and still another visit from a friend this evening. So really, the frustrations are inconsequential when I have so many good friends in my life! Aren't I blessed?
