gone to seed!

There is such beauty in this phase of decay....going to seed has a certain brilliance....i'm trying to get to the part of my going to seed that has brilliance!!!  

It's been a tough few days...haven't had a chest infection like this in a long time...and it is wearing me down!  I had such a day ahead of me this morning that i dispared i wouldn't get thro it!   I needed to get the glaze kiln on and do it all in one day when i usually give myself 2!   But when i finally closed the lid of the kiln at 4.30 pm......quite a bit ahead of when i thought i might get it on....i actually gave myself a high five...i was so thankful that it was on, that it was such a well packed kiln and that it wasn't as arduous as i first imagined!   Nice to be done for the day...and now Terry will put together a small but lovely Thanksgiving dinner for us all!
