Polaroid week...

It's Autumn Polaroid week... the week (or five days) people share instant photos... I decided to start the week off a bit more experimental and did an emulsion lift. It's where you take a Polaroid (or in this case Impossible Project) photo, cut it open, soak it and remove the emulsion (the image) and transfer it to something else. I've done them on paper before, but decided to try another medium today, so have used a bamboo coaster. The result is somewhat impressionistic, but I like it (the original image, shot today, was part of a tree). I've attached a stand to the back, so it is free standing.
