Just we two

This is Lac du Tolerme, 12 October.  The trees look out over the calm autumn lake, flanked by the deserted play areas of summer.  Autumn has fully taken hold.  We were expecting company this week, but illness has forced our loved one to stay at home.  So, here we are looking out over the empty waters, wrapped up in companionable chit chat, just we two.
