Fleuri

Our village can't compete with those in France when it comes to flower displays, but we make quite a good effort. These begonias are a bright splash of colour outside the greengrocer's. The bed is sponsored by the local garden centre and looks good the whole year through.
I was walking through the village on the way home from the funeral of a 92 year old friend who had been a member of a nearby WI and also of my quilt club. The church was full to remember this very talented artist and quilter. We sang Jerusalem at full volume!
