hanging on in there!

I cut down most of the long grass and flowers in my ' meadow' today.
Had mixed feelings over this as many of my blips have come from there over the spring/summer and there are still a few flowers blooming and creatures enjoying the grass. Unusually though the gardener in me won out over the photographer and of course it will be back next year.
