Low and slow C17

Passing over our daughters allotment in Gloucester this C17 is based at RAF Brize Norton and must have been doing an air test, crew currency or maybe returning from an airshow.
Just a few minutes later I snapped a formation of a Gloster Meteor and a De Havilland Vampire but it was out of focus and one on top of the other so it just looked like a strange conglomeration of the two!
