Selsey Lifeboat Station

Selsey Lifeboat Station, whose days are numbered.

So I thought I had better get my sunrise in before that happened.
The plan is to dismantle this structure and move the lifeboat to a shore based vessel.  It does seem a shame but apparently the structure needs an awful lot of maintenance that costs way too much money. 

It’s a shame really if only someone bought it and turned it into a nice restaurant or tearoom.

The views would be amazing.

 

Sorry it’s another sunrise but I so love this time of day and as I don’t sleep very well it’s a great opportunity.
