Solace Day 12: Early Morning On The Maccy

Another early morning shot from our overnight mooring near Buglawton.

Today we traveled back down the Maccy and queued, in light rain, on the Trent & Mersey to go back through the Harecastle Tunnel. The underground journey takes about 40 minutes. When we emerged from the tunnel it was absolutely pouring down so we decided on an early mooring, just after 3pm.

We tied up at Westport Lake again where I had fed the geese on Sunday morning.
