Carn Galver tin mine
A still grey day with the sun peaking through briefly. We started part of the SW Coastal path walking from St Ives to Zennor while the more active faster men walked onto Pendeen. A very strenuous walk climbing up boulders and numerous hills but with stunning scenery. We took lots of breaks to photo the colourful lichen and rocks, flowers and views. The extra photos of the colourful lichen etc will have to be added once we are home.
On the way to pick up the men we stopped at the Carn Galver tin mine which operated on and off during the 1830s till 1878.
