Vipers Bugloss ( Echium Vulgare)

One of the wildflowers in our field, it starts out
pink then turns into the beautiful blue. How
weird are the names..
Despite the soggy weather the flowers are
still managing to come out, they need some
sun now, so do we:-))
Grand daughter 2 and 3 the feller and there
Mum are coming over tonight for a welcome
home supper, I have missed no 2 so much, it's
the longest she's been away from us.
I am cooking roast chicken, do any of you like
cabbage.. I do this dish which they all love, fry
some chopped bacon until crisp, shred the
cabbage and pour over boiling water, drain cool
then squeeze out all the water, add to bacon add
a good few dollops of double cream and heat , it's
very yummy..
The sun is out shhhhhhhhhhhhh
Large isnt too bad.
