Blackwater River

Pushing the 'rock' focus of today's Mono Monday a bit.

The enormous slabs of rock are what create the falls on this part of the river.

I stopped off on my way home tonight at the school field where one of our staff was supposed to be running a 'boot camp' session.  Not to participate of course, just to take photos.  But it was raining so they'd relocated to the gym and that wasn't the image I had in mind.  So I went out to the Blackwater River.  

Remembering that it was Monday and therefore Mono, I thought I'd take photos of some rock faces on the drive.  But the light was all but gone, so it's the river itself instead.
