Preserve Pool

Took a little swim this afternoon as a break in reading old letters. In the last three days I have read perhaps 140 letters. They were writtem between myself and Lois during the six months that my ship was in the Med. It has refreshed my memory of the girl that I married. It has helped to downplay memories of the past couple of years  when her memory was failing. Dementia is a terrible affliction It was good to think back on happier days and the talented, intelligent, and self-reliant mother of our children .
