Poppy Field

Decided not to go to the Botanical Gardens in Birmingham as Gav wanted to watch the Grand Prix didn't feel like it. Instead we had a walk around Sutton Park. It was dry with occasional patches of blue sky but very muddy in places. On the way back we passed this poppy field....such a lovely splash of colour!

Dont think I've ever said this before but it's nice in large!!

Just doing a roast chicken lunch now as Lucy is swimming this evening so likes her main meal at lunchtime. Gav is watching the motor racing and Rob has some homework to do this afternoon.

Looking forward to the footie later - COME ON ENGLAND!!!
