Botafogo Bay

I finally got out to try to knock off a few errands. One was to take some photos for printing, and I grabbed the chance to got up to the top floor (of what used to be the Sears building) to get a shot of Botafogo Bay. It had to be taken through glass, hence the reflections top right.

The whole outing was fraught with frustration at how long everything took – so that when I got back to the picture-framing place it was already shut. Also, my phone ran out of charge just as I lined up for a shot of the Christ Statue and the Corcovado mountain, both looking particularly fine against the evening sky. Ah well, it was probably too far away for my mobile to do justice to it.

A few errands took 3 ½ hours – no wonder I put off going out of the house!
