Posing Peacock

An all-to-brief visit to Nunnington Hall late this afternoon (National Trust) for our usual coffee and cake following L's conference at Wydale Hall. The peacocks were been given a hard time by the peahens as we made our way back to the car and this one had a wary eye on the advancing ladies. Incredibly friendly creatures and I only wish there had been more light to play with to take full advantage of the glorious colours of these beautiful birds.
