Heaped Up Harvest

In our church, folk are always very generous at the harvest festival service, but this year was amazing.

Although not many of us are actually harvesting, it's a good opportunity to stop and remember how much we've received throughout the year, and express our gratitude. The food and other items will go to replenish the food bank our church has (which is being used more and more), plus hand out on the "soup run" for the homeless in the centre of Birmingham, plus we're hoping to get involved in a scheme to welcome refugees.

Fed up I didn't have my camera in the morning - the light then was so much better - yet another sunny autumn day.
