Protecting the boat

I spotted the tarps covering this boat as we drove by, so we went down on the dock to have a closer look.  Nice looking boat, I thought, and worth protecting parts of it.   Maybe the pirates on the other boat nearby are protecting it too.
I liked the floating maple leaf and the dressed-up bumper in the extras too.  Is that bumper the marine version of a scarecrow?  Maybe NannaK can tell me.  :)
A confession:  not all my kitchen drawers are as organized as the one I blipped yesterday.  I'm surprised no one asked if maybe it was so organized because I never cook - or use any of those utensils.  :)
