Sunday Morning on the Spey

I decided to get up and going promptly this morning - with the prospect of the long drive back to Oxford, but did stop briefly to look at the Spey just outside Grantown-on-Spey where I've been staying on this visit. A peaceful scene.

The drive south was rather less peaceful! Smooth and to plan down to the border, after that one delay after another.  Eventually gave up trying to get back to Oxford - and found somewhere to stay on the University of Warwick campus - c. 12 hours early for my meetings tomorrow.

Which has a least given me time to get my blips up to date this evening. This wee trip started on Thursday.
