Hope my identification is correct. There's a red admiral in extras. 


A cross country drive today and I’m in Yorkshire now staying with Jane and Jason for a while. I would usually stop off somewhere on the way for a walkabout and some photos, but with today being a sunny Sunday I didn’t fancy competing with all the day trippers for a parking space. 

Instead I took my camera around J+J’s garden and got some butterfly photos. Thought it wise to change to the telephoto lens so I didn’t walk all over the soil and plants like I do at home :)
