Instant colour - in the garden!

Mediterranean gardening can be challenging!
....too little water!....too much bright sunshine!...very little shade!
We've had some encouraging success with flowering shrubs such as Bourgainvillaea .....

But, when we want some bright cheerful colours in our back garden....there is little to beat some cheap and cheerful plants to pop into containers......and for us, the answer is Petunias!....lots of bright colours, about a Euro a plant, from the local market!
