Autumn evening

The nights are really drawing in now, this was taken before 7pm and it's too dark and cold to sit in my lovely conservatory.
Had a lovely day I cooked Sunday lunch for Kate and John and Matt and Jade. Big weeks for both of them coming up. Kate retires from The Manse next Sunday after working there and running the home for over 25 years. It is the end of an era, and has many memories for us too as Nana was there and Dad recuperated there. John also finishes his job as handyman. Matt and Jade are packing up to leave the flat next weekend and prepare for their adventure the following Monday.
