Evolution of Structure

A welcome lazy morning;  I am still feeling the effects of my massage! Then outside into the warm autumn sunshine to cut the grass, sow some grass, do the weeding and some pruning, and tidy the garage.  It was wonderful to be outside.  The garden still has many flowers in bloom but there are signs of the fading light and warmth, the hosta leaves a lush green all summer, are now a vibrant yellow, and my agapantha flower has gone to seed.  I am leaving them as I love their colours and structures.  Its nearly a year since I moved to Hampshire from Scotland so it is interesting for me to reflect on the year's cycle in the garden; how plants have grown and blossomed and how the overall structure of the garden has evolved.
