Hollow-een

Today has been a relatively lazy Sunday full of cake baking, nature walks and ice creams in October.

We went for a pre-dinner stroll to Mudford Rec and, after Alex had a little play on the zip wire and an ice cream, we had wander to take in the autumn colours just beginning to emerge. This tree hollow caught my eye and I really love all the different colours and textures on this tree. This park is just down the road from us but we seldom take the time to appreciate the flowers, berries and other flora and fauna. It was really nice today to breathe and taken in the beauty of the beginnings of autumn.
