Buttercup

The vendors around these areas are very persistent and have lots of beautiful hand-made bits and bobs for sale. The locals are mainly from the Zhuang and Yao ethnic minorities and many of them wear lovely bright clothes and impressive hair styles. They were very friendly towards us too. In the end though, I didn't really want to buy anything, so I gave her some money for the photo.

Also while we were hiking back down from a scenic area, I saw my first wild snake in the grass. It was bright pea green and very slithery.
