Is it a bird?

No, it's a plane, and it's the Vulcan again! Although it flew its last ever airshow last weekend there are still a flew flights planned this month, and this weekend it did two tours of the UK; the northern tour yesterday and the southern one today. Frankly, having seen it in several displays this year today was rather underwhelming; it was literally just a flypast with a little dip of the wings as it flew over. To be fair, it was never promised to be anything more than that so at least it was a chance for a lot of people to see her flying who wouldn't otherwise have seen it.

This was taken over Rutland Water. The church in the thumbnail has only the top half visible above the water as the bottom half was below water level when the reservoir was constructed. Rather than demolish it, it was converted so that the top half is now in use as a visitor centre.
