The Farewell Flyer

Well, that was a wholly enjoyable Saturday. We did the usual wander up to tow and walked around Pickering station, which is starting to get dressed up for next week's Wartime Weekend – you can see the sandbags and window tape in the background of this. Then cooking in the afternoon, in preparation for having dinner guests – my former colleague and longtime friend Paula is up from London with her boyfriend Mike for a few days holiday, so it gave us an excuse to make some nice food and open a few bottles of wine :-)
