Craving for water

On our early morning walk we went off road. This is at the back of Aidan & Kaylene's subdivision. Scrubby spindly trees that are in need of a drink. Over here they do controlled burning to rid of the tinder dry grasses. On the left of the track it is burnt, on the right it is not. We saw a dead kangaroo on the subdivision road as we started our walk. and another much bigger kanga scooted across from where this picture was taken. Aidan tells me they are coming into the built up areas looking for water. It is desperately dry and becoming a critical situation.
Came home hot and sticky and had a large following of pesky flies. Straight into the pool for a freshen up.

Bathurst and Presidents Cup has filled in our day. About to have a refreshment of some sort :)
