Take off !

When I was walking the dogs around the farm we disturbed this female Paradise duck. She had a brood of three ducklings with her on this little pond. In her efforts to distract us from the ducklings she landed nearby and feigned a broken wing....so that the dogs ran towards her, and so away from her precious family. How clever is that !
