Paper flowers

Another busy day ahead and more rain.I decided to have an early walk down the garden to see how much rain there had been while we were away overnight and I found this beauty.
It looks as if a trinket has been enveloped in white tissue paper. It reminds me of when the gypsy women would come round the doors selling paper flowers for money to feed the bundle wrapped up in a wool rug tied round their waist.
I hope the pink poppy surprises me soon.
