Engaged

We went to an engagement party this eve. They're something to be endured rather than enjoyed. The music is so loud you can't talk to people very easily and they're generally very dull. I did a few laps of the hall in the dancing line to help pass the time. We did get to catch up with our old neighbours- this lady used to be a very big part of our lives when we first moved out here. She's quite a character!
