Air rifle..

Updated web wages for Scourie this morning. That took about 3 hours..

Listened to the rugby, that took 1.5 hours..
Fell asleep on the settee, that took an hour..

Couldn't tell you what I did with the other 2.5 hours..

Tried a wide angle pic of the village with smoke rising out of nearly every chimney. That just didn't work - the smoke just disappeared into the dull cloud cover. So set up in the kitchen with the rifle resting on a chair, camera on tripod, and a torch shining down the barrel. Shone another torch on this end of the barrel.. Nearly got the effect I was after.

I've borrowed this to "annoy" a seagull that keeps pinching the hens eggs. I hit him once about a week ago, without causing injury, and he's now very aware of me, and flies off as soon as he sees me.. I still have the odd shot at him, but need to align the sights a bit better. I have hit the ost he perches on!!..

Think this looks quite "James Bondish"!!..
