Crossroads

There didn't seem to be a speck of light out there today, so I took a walk around the woods and although there were some lovely beech leaves on the ground, they needed a bit of light to set them off so I'll save them for another day. The signpost showed up nicely against the dark foliage so that's what we'll have today.

I put up a different blip last night after I came back from the gig. It's not much of a blip, just an iphone shot from my viewpoint on stage as the concert ended. I felt I needed to mark the occasion in my journal and I got quite excited in my post-gig review. It took a while to get to sleep after that.

This morning I was up bright and early and up to the venue to take down the PA, lights, stage and all the blacks that hid the corrugated walls, to turn the place back into a barn again. It didn't take too long, just an hour and a half or so and that included all the post gig chat (and backslapping) as well.

When I got to the barn there were a couple of drunks hanging around from last night. They've become an extra.

I suppose my blip is a bit symbolic as it is now a case of 'where do we go from here'. It's too good and too enjoyable to stop but where do we take it?
