Fennel

We have visitors at the moment and so had no excuse to go to the new Museum in Biggar.  It was a treat - particularly liked the reconstruction of the old shops and we had fun with the old manual telephone exchange - astonishing that these things worked.  Spent a lot of time in the Toy shop flicking through an Meccano catalogue.

The Museum will be opened next week by HRH Princess Anne.  It will closed for the day so she can declare it open.  Weird.

Only time to pop my lens out of the kitchen window to snap the fennel.  It is gently turning yellow.
