Scotland has just gone through to the quarter-final of the Rugby World Cup after a thrilling game against Samoa. With only three points between them at the final whistle, it was touch and go throughout.

June and I caught up over coffee and cake at the tennis club coffee morning, then I had to walk Lara. Unlike earlier this week, when I really thought she was on her last legs, today Lara was surprisingly frisky, which was a delight to see.

The blip was taken on our walk and shows the cloud cover, but the weather was very pleasant despite that.
