An Absolute Abstract Anniversary Article

Instead of collecting a thousand items for a photo collage I decided to go the other way. Take a picture of a 100 Swiss Franc bill (a 1'000 CHF bill would have been more straightforward – but too much money to carry around...). Passing the picture through a tenfold kaleidoscope and adjusting the colours has done the job.

I never imagined when posting the first picture end of Dec 2012 that one day I would reach a thousand. It was quite a journey, observing, learning about photography and English language by being in contact with fellow blippers. The few dull days it was a motivation to find something blippable, the majority of days to forget a moment about daily work issues and find, or even chase something blippable. What makes the difference for me is to see day by day in a different angle.
 
Hopefully blipfoto will have a prosperous future under the new ownership. I guess that some of us are a bit worried about the long period of silence now. So, let’s hope the best and keep continuing a backup just in case.
