Date night!

Being so far away from friends and family means our local support network is fairly limited.  Granted, Grandma flies over every few months but unfortunately we don’t have anyone ‘around the corner’.

To give Nikki and the kids a break from each other, Jeanette - our friendly babysitter, comes round and spends an afternoon once a week with the wee ones.  The kids love it and Nikki gets to have a break catch up on a few chores.

To celebrate Nikki’s birthday, we decided to invite Jeanette to watch the children tonight so we could pop out and enjoy a grown up dinner.
