A good day

Odd to wake up with no guests and neither of us going in to a school. In the afternoon I went back to North Loch Eport archaeologising.
Lots of interesting stuff, most of which was unrecorded.
This was probably the most interesting - a mound with four structures built into it. I'd think it was an old burial cairn that has been reused in the Iron Age as a handy quarry.
It would be fascinating to see one of these mounds that dot the isles excavated.
