I've been suffering a bit over the last few days with a niggling toothache.. I managed to get an emergency appointment this morning, after a few tests, we came to the conclusion that my tooth had died.. And was then given the choice of root canal or extraction..
And that due to it being a back tooth, the dentists personal success rate of saving it with a root canal was 0%, but he really wanted to give it a go..
And promptly went on to numb my mouth and make a start right there & then!

The odd numb sensation throughout my mouth, tongue & lip made the rest of the afternoon interesting and ive been given a course of antibiotics to help clear any infection.. And so far so good, the pain has eased, which I'm thankful for! We shall see how the next few weeks go!
