Charlestown, County Mayo

This is a shot of the centre of Charlestown, my mother's home town. Her home was in a small hamlet a couple of miles away. As a child she would walk barefooted in and out of town.

Today we went with our cousin and the churchyard clerk to identify the unmarked grave of our grandmother and two of her children. We are arranging for a memorial stone to be placed there.

Going home tomorrow!!!
