The Tower of Babel

On my way to my course today I stopped off to see this installation at the V&A museum. It stands 6 meters high and comprises 3000 bone china shops each depicting a real London shop photographed by the artist, Barnaby Banford. It is a monument to the great British pastime of shopping. Each shop is for sale. The artist cycled over 1,000 miles to photograph shop fronts from each of London's postcodes.
