Heron
A busy, enjoyable day today. We had our haircuts in the morning then it was time for a toasted teacakes, followed by ice cream catch up with Helen and some planning for future adventures, big and small. En route we bumped into Steph who we were glad to see out and about, and Liz who gave me the date for a Ceilidh in support of Katie's Scholarship Fund.
To walk off the ice cream Helen and I took a walk around St Ives to ensure all news was thoroughly caught up and that is where we spotted the two herons on Coppice Pond. They took flight/fright and this blip is the best of a pretty blurred bunch of them! I saw Helen off and came home to add things to the calendar before my ageing brain forgot them, sent off several e-mails that needed doing, watered the tubs and baskets - they are definitely on the wane now and soon it will be time to get tea on!
