Lectern

Today I had to go to town as bills needed paying and a prescription needed to be collected from Boots. I did not need to spend money in Paperchase nor Oxfam, but I did that anyway, as you do!

I noticed that St. Mary's Church was open so I went in and asked if they'd mind if I took a few photos.  It's one of Lincoln's oldest churches, with history going back to Saxon times

I took several photos including this, of the rather impressive lectern.

Tomorrow is Super League Grand Final day and I'm excited already - my team, Wigan Warriors will play Leeds Rhinos. Everyone who is not a Wigan fan seems to want Leeds to win. I hope we spoil the party!
